Applications of Discrete Structures
Logic, proofs, set theory, combinatorics, and graph theory. Proof-based and a sharp difficulty jump for many students; co-requisite path into COP 3530.
Typical workload: ~10 hrs/week outside class
Scheduled in 5 of 81 UF model plans, usually in semester 2 (freshman year) and part of critical tracking for 4 majors.
You need MAC 2311 or MAC 3472, and COP 3502C first.
