Equilibrium, acids and bases, kinetics, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. Gateway to Organic Chemistry — a weak foundation here makes CHM 2210 much harder.
Typical workload: ~10 hrs/week outside class

You need one of CHM 2045, CHM 2095, CHM 2050, MAC 1147, or MAC 1140, and MAC 1114 first.
