Programming Fundamentals 1
First programming course in the CISE sequence: variables, control flow, functions, recursion, and basic data organization. Everything in the CS curriculum sits downstream of this course.
Typical workload: ~9 hrs/week outside class
Scheduled in 5 of 81 UF model plans, usually in semester 1 (freshman year) and part of critical tracking for 3 majors.
No prerequisites. Open to take anytime.
You need MAC 2311 first.
